    Got a call from some lady that wants me to take the oak from her back yard ever since Sandy. Do u think its worth going to take a look at it. It's 15 miles away.

    One of my coworkers knows I'm into firewood and her neighbor mentioned it her and I got the call. I'll check it out and see if its worth it. Nothing to lose but more heat to add to my piles

    Free oak? You'd better get there before I do! :thumbs: The only thing better, would be if it's already split and seasoned! If not, it'll be some prime btus in a couple years.

    I think so, I drove a total of 72 miles for some White & Red Oak.
