The aging process is tough ......... learning to accept it is tougher. The great comedian Jonathon Winters once said "you start life crawling in diapers and drooling, at one point you peak and are on the top of life. Then, it tops the hill of life and you spiral downward back to the world of crawling in diapers and drooling. Enjoy everyday to the fullest while you can."

That was a high pressure load. You'd be surprised how much brush can be compressed into a truck when you put your mind to it.

x2, I've fallen twice over the last couple years, previously I could brace my fall and get back up, now it's scary, like being slammed to the floor, pray on the way down nothing gets injured or head doesnt hit.

And then lay there taking inventory of what is working and what is not. Scares me every time I do it. I am no longer allowed up on the roof or on ladders.

Yes, I was trying to do my imitation of Flip Wilson on Ice ending with a 125 mile trip to the trauma center to start a nice collection of plates, pins and cables.

Did you get another truck? I know you were stuffing little hatchbacks pretty well for a while.

If I had anyone around that would notice if I didn't show up, that would be one thing. I'm more worried about the cats and birds starving to death than anything though. Although I would prefer not to go out laying there in agony and adding starving/thirsting/freezing to death on top of it.
