Strange rust pattern on what otherwise looks like a new bar. Congrats on the score. A buddy was trying to sell a mint twin trigger model, but he couldn’t get what he was asking for it.

I was just linking their web site for peeps that can't visit their store. They seem to be a pretty good outfit...

Yeah, I thought in the original pics it was bar burn, but he mentioned something about the stupid roof leak in his garage going unnoticed for some time.

Looks like a firewood shortening fixture... but it requires a sausage stuffed, square ground, Hoosky to make it function properly...

makes 22" sticks into 18" sticks... The easy way!!!

    What Monte said. :D
I hoard wood for my parents too. I was cutting 20-22 for their open fireplace but a while ago I talked them into an insert that will only take 17-18” pieces. I think we got everything shortened now. :dex:

    Looks about right.
We used to cut sawmill scrap that way, we built a jig that was 4' wide x 5' high x 12 feet long that we'd fill right off the mill, then take the 3120xp and cut it into 16" lengths.....it made a ton of wood in a hurry.
The only problem was, because of the irregularities of the scraps it was constantly binding the bar, so as you cut down through you were doing the handsaw stroke to keep it cutting.

We had a nice cedar that had to come down several years ago and we made closet cookies for everyone that wanted one. They were a big hit with all the ladies in the wife's garden and sewing clubs.

I could have used one of those.

When somebody tells you they want their firewood cut to 21” and the stove will almost fit a 19” stick. Going to have to make one of those jigs.

I'm so jealous of you guys being able to buy these for a reasonable price down there. Even the runty top handle 2500 is $30 plus $105 for shipping, and then there would be duties and $10 handling fee (for the priviledge of the border donkeies opening the box.)
Did I ever mention Canada sucks lol
