It could be, it couldn't be, That's a 50/50 shot. They removed those when I was 15 or so? It had been such a long time between repairs I honestly can't prove it and don't know where to start even if I truly believed it.

I can tell you from experience that it never seems to go as far as you hoped. At least for me.

Any material looks a lot bigger in dump truck than on ground

Until you put it in the dump truck.

it’s like there’s nothing in there.

    Until you weigh it.

Yup, the pile just doesn't look that big after dumping, and then when you start pushing it around, even more material just seems to "disappear"!

When we did my driveway; the trucker figured 6” over length.. the excavator operator was eyeballing 8”. Excavator had laid fabric and was scooping gravel onto fabric to prevent ripples and tears. He been an operator for 30 years and OCD..
We were 200 feet less than halfway when we reached our guesstimate on number of triples..

Trucker boss called me did I want to stop for budget reasons??

:hair:NO send them faster so we can finish before pit closes a couple of pics IMG_0668.jpeg IMG_0667.jpeg

This came through on my YouTube this week.
    thought you’d find it interesting.

there’s lots of different reinforcement systems like what he puts down on top of the fabric.
