Thanks, Glad to hear that... Not sure on making a big difference, but its definitely easier... and has provided some excellent eats... We always did duck breast and deer steaks in buttermilk and in that it does a good job of helping with the "game" flavor... The bacon was good, always had talked about it, there again not a game changer but was good. I just got two turkeys for my next round... at $.45/lb ... ... as Wally World was marking them down... I'm always looking at doing something different on my Thanksgiving birds... Actually while looking up stuff for this year, I found a Aaron Franklin recipe... that I'll be doing next probably... I use my note section on my Iphone to keep notes on my cooks, its helped out with the memory...
... Not sure... But this one is basically smoke and then smother it in butter herb mixture and put it back on the smoker breast side down...
