I'll let her know. She's not got a spinning wheel yet. She's been buying a lot of stuff from the loopy ewe and spinning it with a hand spinner.

Where are you? Currently sitting 3 miles south of Ruckersville, spent a couple of hours in the drizzle at the Somerset steam show yesterday morning. I will be outside Richmond Friday - Sunday participating at Field Day of the Past.

No fun for me today, I filled a 30 yard can with junk from my mother's house.

Think I may take a load to the scrapyard on Tuesday. This is a portion of what I have to go.

You taking that to Coiners? It is called Cycle Systems now. Or M and M in Green? M and M usually has 20 or so parts saws laying around for sale.

I am between C-ville and Zion.

I've stayed close to Zion crossroads when I was working at north Anna.

M&M is closer, but have never dealt with them but see their ads for $25 crapped out saws. I have property north of Gum Spring in Louisa (though the mailing address is Mineral).

You know we had an earthquake 3 years ago?

I was in the Lowes in Zion Cross Road yesterday.

I was in southern Cali when the earthquake hit there. I know people that were at the plant that day. I've been through that area in gum spring.

I got lucky the last time I was up that way buying a pair of bucket seats for the 87 Yota. The 3400 in my sig came from there and is a solid runner. Even a blind sow....
I was on a tractor when it happened, so I never felt it. Some of the aftershocks were enough. My large animal vet was renting a house in Mineral and it got knocked off the foundation and was condemned.

I was on my way to pick up my daughter at school when the 2:00 news came on and said DC had been rattled by an earthquake that was centered in Mineral. Turns out the epicenter was less than 6 miles from me but I suffered no damage.

The 200 year old brick house in Cuckoo (intersection of 33 and 522) lost all 4 chimneys and had major damage. I understand the owners spent $1.2 M rebuilding it.
