Good afternoon! Sunny and 67F, last of the nice weather today. I managed to mow the front yard in the dark last night with the help of a magnetic light on the front of the ZT. I'll try to get some of the back yard done tonight before music practice at church. Have a God day!

I used to hunt in my younger years and the land where I hunted was farm land. The deer ate everything cows ate so getting a deer there, you had a good corn fed deer, no wild taste at all.

    Good morning y'all.

    57/67 clouds.

Unplanned work today......there's a hog needs killing, and sawdust to make, and dead trees to saw down, and something else I thought of last night but can't remember now....

Yesterday after my trip to the big town with one stoplight, I got a few logs sawed up and burned the scrap pile.

The boys finished up at my sister's place yesterday.

Good morning! 51F and cloudy with chance of spotty rain showers. I managed to get the front half of the back yard mowed yesterday during daylight. Most of the leaves got mulched, which was the main priority. Need to make some mini bundles and kindling bags tonight. Might do a bit of splitting as well. Have a God day!

Morning all. Been a couple of days of excitement. We had a ordered a new Corolla from our nearest Toyota dealership about a month ago and it wasn't going to arrive until Feb/March sometime. campinspecter has been surfing the net (he is good at that) and found what we wanted at another dealership. It had been ordered in and the people didn't want to buy it. A little bit of dickering, 6 hours of driving and a two hour ferry ride and it was ours. As it hadn't been on the road yet, we opted to have it undercoated before bringing it home. So here we are waiting to pick it up this morning. Hopefully this will be the last new car we will purchase. Fun times.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning we had an extended trip to the cabin last week. We had a nice time at deer camp, but we don’t have much of a deer population up there right now. It snowed and it took a lot of walking to even find a single deer track anywhere. The good new is that the wolf sign is down too, which means they will have a tough winter with no deer. Should be another 5 years or so before our deer can recover a bit. Some rufffed grouse and snowshoe hare for the pot were taken here and there for a few feasts. IMG_3607.jpeg
A track from one of the few remaining deer a few miles up the road from our place.

    Good morning, members.

    Showery morning. Mid-50's/low-40's.

Not too cool in the house. I have a fire built in the stove just waiting for a light.

I hope the showers forecast is true. I'm going grocery shopping and I'm hoping rain will keep others at home.
