24 foot of 6inch ss uninsulated liner inside of an uninsulated 8inch liner (long story).
Last year was my first year with the Princess insert.
I put about 4.5 cords through it.
    This is what came out.

Good time to get it done. Did mine yesterday before it started pouring.

Geeze, I didn't even think to look in ours yet. Should be good for another couple years though.

I cleaned the stove out a few days ago thinking I'd get up on the roof to sweep,......then it got chilly and I've had enough fires that I need to clean out the stove again.:headbang:
I shouldn't be on the roof just yet anyway, I guess. The cap still looks pretty clean, so I'm not too worried.
I have a nice warm and fuzzy feeling that the 30 is burning so much cleaner, that the flue won't need cleaning nearly as often as in the past.
Agreed twl, Dennis should check at least monthly. :D

That stuff looks gray, not black. I'm no pro at this, but black would be creosote and gray would be just fly ash, yes? I' d be happy with just that from a flue brushing. About how much is there Blue? Can't tell from the pictire.

yup, mostly fine grey powder. I scraped every last bit off the ledges and inside every crevace of the flue. I didnt really measure it. Best I can say is it was about 2 or 3 inches deep in my orange 5 gallon bucket from Home deopt.
