I got to go to the mother load of trees and cut with my new saw...:hair: AND use my trailer for the first time in 1.5 years! I finally found the time to install my new 3500lb axle in it. The trailer looks hilarious with the old wheels from the 1700lb axle. It got a 11" lift with the springs.... The old axle was a torsion axle from 1983. The old popup camper trailer lives again!

We tipped 7 trees bucked them and filled two trailers with mostly White Oak and Cherry. My friends 2 car car haul trailer and my 10' converted popup trailer. I am sore!

Thanks! I discovered I could have filled it even higher but I am being cautious because of the small tires. M gonna have to upgrade them now....

So the trailer handled the weight no problem, your concerned the tires won't hold up? Changing them out and putting what on?

Yes the trailer did just fine. The tires are rated at 700lb each but the axle is 3500lb now soooo upgrade time. The tires where really squishing good when I left for home. You can't really see it because my drive isn't concrete but there bulging.:whistle:I am going to put 14" trailer tires on that are rated at 1300 each. That should do it....

I was going to say that I was surprised that the tires were bulging, but then I read more and found out that they did. I haul wood with a snowmobile trailer and I can totally relate to tire bulge. I think they call that "the horde is willing, but the equipment is weak!".
Thankfully you can change out the tires and have a killer wood trailer.
The saw sounds sweet with the mod! The Harley Davidson of chainsaws.

Some heavy wood there, prime BTUs too.
Looks like the trailer handled it just fine.

That saw is a beast! I ran the whole day on one chain too not a single nail or screw or rebar to be found anywhere. That's a rarity I usually hit a metal object in at least one tree and chip a tooth good.

Lol they didn't used to be much lower but the leaf spring axle sits way higher than the torsion did. I'm leaving them though they look redneck sporty!  I tell myself that so I feel better about not fixing them at night!
