Amazes me how folks "fit" this place so well. You're obviously one of us mm3 ! Welcome to the FHC. You'll get 10x more enjoyment doing the firewood thing with a whole lotta hoardin' folks right here who "get it" too... :saw::tree::axe::campfire:

There are lots of people here who repair saws and/or can help you with good sources for parts to DIY. ;)

Funny, you should say that. I've been trying to talk my honey into some sort of firewood themed wall hanger... like log ends or ?
She shot me down badly... :rootintootin: ... :D

Scotty, I was wondering the same thing. A work of art. Nice to see you take pride even in stacking wood. Now c'mon over to my house and show me how it's done! :)

I dont have that many trees that are that big that I can get that many squares out of!! I cut some big stuff up a few years ago and was so much work I dont mess with the big 40" stuff anymore. But nothing like all the square splits and 50+ splits per round. Burning that square stuff this winter.

left and middle is Doug Fir, right side is Big Leaf maple. All seasoned and ready for this year ( about 3 cord total)

another cord of seasoned Doug Fir, this years just in case wood, more than likely next years wood
    [IMG]

another cord and a half of fresh cut fir by the fence and just shy of 1/2 cord of big leaf maple above it. and about a cord of seasoned fir and elm to the left
