2nd load moved into my basement this morning

    Gettimg ready !! 4 more to go and I have 6 loads ready in my small shed. The wood Im moving into my basement is outside stacked and top covered. 1 load is white oak and the other hickery that I moved in. I LOVE IT

    Having dry wood (whether under a shed, in the basement, or under a tarp) is a great feeling!!

    Hey Griz, I hope you can wait until January to burn that oak and hickory! That is prime stuff and a shame to burn it before New Years.

    white oak/red oak, locus and hickory is the only kinds of wood I got. roughly 15 cords

    Lucky you!!!! Enjoy it! Not that way here as we don't have lots of oaks and our only hickory is very small; not big enough to make firewood. No locust either.

    I wish we could cut together. You are the wood legend. I burn some poplar from time to time good to come in hot coals and loader up a puf instant fire:ithappened:

    Thanks You got the boards right but I drilled the block and put up osb board and painted it dull grey and then ripped the boards and put them up with a air staple gun. It was easy Im far from a carpenter.:hair: It looks better if you could see the whole room
