    Sounds like fun...lol...
That a big service they ran, 480v, 3 phase, probably 4K amps or better.
    Probably 350-500 ACM wire...
I had a few fun days like that back in my electrical career. Even more fun when you have to bend it to fit in tight places...

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 38°\75° today, clear.
Finally recovered from the past 2 days...Thursday we needed to take the new SxS in for it's first service @100 miles. Supposedly 2.5-3 hrs job, we got there about 10AM, we left there at 4PM. Got home about 5:15, had to be at work-6:30PM. Miz Carol took me to work. Then had a full day yesterday.
Got to do some mowing for a deer camp up the road this morning, then friends are going with us to the last truck/tractor pull of the year, it's the biggest one, 2 day event. Pullers from all over come to this one.
Share a smile, lend a hand, be encouraging...
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

I helped run a 2K amp service once , had 5 parallel runs of 4" conduit to it.
We also did a big house once, 1000 Amp service to it...:jaw:...had 5 - 200 amp boxes mounted in the electrical closet...

    Good morning y'all.

    44/69

Planning to cut more dead oak trees today.

Yesterday I hauled the last four loads, while Sam got most everything cleaned up with the tractor. IMG_20231103_094412.jpg IMG_20231103_115318.jpg IMG_20231103_132518.jpg IMG_20231103_152100.jpg

Getting a nice pile of firewood logs.

Morning All. Dark, windy and wet out there this morning. Wind storm came through last night bringing horizontal rain.

Paul and Silas were on the move, visiting different cities. On their visit to Thessaloncia, they met many people who believed the Good News about Jesus, both Jews and a lot of Gentiles. Unfortunately, some Jewish leaders didn't like the message and found people who like to make trouble. The crowd went to Jason's house where Paul and Silas were staying. Finding only Jason, they took their anger out on him.
Paul, Silas and Timothy moved on to Berea. Here they met with people who were more receptive to the message. They opened the scriptures and checked up on everything Paul was preaching. Seeing the truth in scriptures, many believed and kept on studying to know more.
Again, those from Thessaloncia who were causing trouble, came to Berea and made trouble for Paul so he left. Silas and Timothy stayed behind to continue the work.
Are we good Bereans? Do we study the scriptures daily and live by what they say? When someone has a "new" idea, do we check the scriptures to see if is true? Or do we blindly follow tradition because that's the way it has always been? I pray that studying the Bible becomes part of your life.

11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17: 11

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.

Good morning everyone! I survived the time change better than expected by forcing myself to stay up a couple hours later than normal. I'm usually up way too early on this one.

Morning all. Today dawned very nicely with clearing skies and maybe the sun peaking through. I woke up with a massive headache and the knowledge that my main computer semi-died Friday night.
I took it downstairs this morning and did what wildwest recommended as I haven't done it in a long time. I took the side panel off and vacuumed out all the dust and dog hair. I took a Qtip and scrubbed as best as I can the fan blades and cooling fins of each fan.
I brought it upstairs and plugged everything back in and turned it on. It fired up and did a Windows update (argggh) and then I was able to get to the main menu. Right now, slow as it is, it is doing a big backup to my backup drive. It has been a couple of months since I did the last one. This computer is 5 years old
Meanwhile, campinspecter's computer that is 12-15 years old and running Windows 7 is still working. Speakers have problems with sound distortion every once in a while so I go in and update the drivers. I am on my second computer since I gave him that one.
It wouldn't be quite so frustrating normally but I have a bookkeeping report to do for a meeting Monday night and of course I need access to the program.
I think I need some sewing therapy in the sewing room today.

    Everyone have a great day.

Yes it did and answer to prayer. It was the church bookkeeping that I had to get done. Just finishing up on my reports. Also got all my backups done as well.
