Packed up for overnight. Probably let her burn out tommorow. Tommorows highs in low 60s. Gonna probably give chimney a good sweep and stove a good cleaning tommorow evening

53/73 no fire since last night, probably will let the ng boiler run a bit if needed until about Tues. Going to be in the 60's again.

Back to the 60's for the weekend so the stove is cold since a fire yesterday morning.

Phone wouldn’t take a charge yesterday, it was 5 years old. Holy schmokes this camera is way better.

A 5 year newer phone is a huge difference in camera quality.

It was like that here the other day. Normal cold temp for fall, should have been ‘cool’, actually - but the rain and damp made it feel miserable. The next day was colder but dry; it felt SO much better.

Anyways, mid 40’s tonight with rain. Burning more buckthorn and pin oak chunks. Looks like a roast in there! IMG_0769.jpeg

26/66 with the fire rolling it will warm up soon. I found a vein of silver maple yesterday in the stacks from windstorm damage last summer that is doing the job.

No fire yesterday or last night. Got one going now as I don't like my home in the 60's and especially the low 60's. That temp outside is great but not inside.

34/71. More than likely letting last nights fire go out. Need to do an ash pan clean out and it’s much less dusty when cold.

Temp is still dropping into the dawn here…23/71f. Got another load cued up for heating into mid-afternoon.

Then will let things burn down until a fresh load around 6PM.

42° out now, just reloaded the stove with a couple of splits of catalpa and box elder. 69° inside.
It only got down to the high 30's last night, nowhere near freezing. I just looked at the forecast only cause fur a below freezing temperature maybe next Friday. It's going to get near 60 this weekend and about 60 early in the week.

Stove is cold. We’ve been back into the 60’s the last few days. Weather guesser says will be in the 70's again for the next week.

Well, I guess I'm a liar as it was requested to have a fire last night. Not sure about tonight so we will see, 54 degrees out at the moment.
