    Our 1st frost of the season this morning. 30⁰, clear. Bright moon shining. Mid-40's later.

    One last piece of camping gear to put away.

    I'll need to get some groceries. Relatives fly in later this afternoon.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. We should have our 1st frost if the wind died down. TWC says 31°, but we live in a bottom, so it's usually a couple degrees cooler. We found a Honda dealership about 50 miles away to do the service work on "Early Retirement"
    Somehow 100 miles got on it in less than a week...:quad::whistle::eek::thumbs:...
    We can go to Sam's club while we wait.
    I'll finish up night shift tonight.

    The other night my friend lost his glasses. We could not find them but he came back today. Luck was with us. By the time he got here most of the snow had melted and we had a hard time following his track where he drup the deer out because he had used one of those plastic toboggans so nothing was left for tracks. I was pretty sure we were close but he was getting a bit down about it. I told him we would keep going until we found the gut pile. When I saw it I told him but he still didn't see it until we were within 15' of it. We started by looking through the leaves in the area and luck was with us. I spotted something black and it just looked out of place. Reaching down, I picked up his glasses! He was one happy camper!

    Planning to either work at that last salvage job, or saw more oak boards.... waiting to hear back from the landowner.

    Yesterday I cut a few logs.... but I spent most of the day fighting with the mill trying to figure out what is causing the rough cuts....to no avail...:headbang:

    Good morning! 41F and sunny, looks like a promising weekend. Finally got the skid steer back on the property last night (after dark) so I managed to move some totes and brought a little wood from storage. Tonight I'll resplit some ash and fill the firewood stand and probably tidy up the log pile that's gotten pretty unruly. Have a God day!

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... That was a interesting day... Power was cut to the building at approximately 8 a.m. restored around 12 ish... 4 - wires BOY plus Neutral... each about the size of my thumb ... 3 sets of those Were pulled through each of the 3 conduits 205 feet... connected at the main transformer and the new box...I could never do a desk job... Days like this makes my job interesting...
