I wonder what ever happened to PA Mountain Man? He was very active on the site for a while then just dropped off the face of the earth

Towards the end of the last of his time here, it really sounded like the wood hoarding fetish was causing serious friction at home. I can only speculate that maybe to keep the peace at home he had to take a step back.

He also had a history with drug use. Not saying it was a problem but it’s always an issue.

He was a good guy. Just disappeared. I know he had a daughter or granddaughter that was special needs.

I hope that's not the case but if it is and he let himself go, I hope he can get himself back. Life's hard enough without a monkey on your back.
I just remembered he had a young boy at home too. Now I really hope he's doing alright. A boy needs his father. Gotta break that cycle...

And having vision issues, his eyes were making it hard for him to look at a computer. I pray he's okay.

I know he had health issues (back i think) and had to take it slow when he came home from the hospital. Wondering if that flared up again?

I just checked his facebook page and no activity since 2020. He was advertising his firewood business.

He lives in the next town over from me. From his posts he had a dodge truck and worked at a local school. I have seen the truck he had in his pics at the place he said he worked recently. Not a creeper just observant. Lol

Okay by the authority vested in me by nobody, I fully expect you to keep an eye out for the MasonBilly and report back if you catch a glimpse of him emerging from the rock he's been hiding under :)

I saw Molly two weeks ago when I went to help her (or is it myself?) by taking some firewood. She sold a cord so far, but has A LOT to go. I think I am going to talk to her about grabbing truckloads as I can while she is gone for the winter, and we can figure out a price in the end once I take what I want.

She has about 3 cords of black locust ready to go. Not sure how much of that I need though.

You need all of it. I hope you have rack space. She would probably want her racks gone as well.

I have found that a little BL mixed in with oak works well when I need hot. I just dont need a lot of it. I actually have about a cord that still needs to be split and stacked. I am thinking that I should advertise it for what it is and try and get her a premium for it.

Absolutely Dennis! I'm happy for her that shes getting out of here like she wants, but I'm losing an occasional hoarding friend.
