Wrote the $12,000 check today to bring the truck and new side dump home today.

I’ll try and get a video of it up tomorrow of it operating.

split my 150 gal fuel tank to a 110 fuel/ 40 gal hydraulic. Cheaper ($400) than buying a $2600 commercial tank.

We oversized the hydraulics and it’s a 14 second cycle time at high idle I was told and 20 seconds at curb idle. We’ll see tomorrow.

I was able to see I can dump on the move about 8 mph.

Actually saw a couple of hours of sun, starting around noon, so was able to open curtains and shades. Then by 2:30 pm the good times were over and it was heavily overcast again as it has been most of the month. Seriously, it looks like the last time my place saw actual sun was on the 19th (and that was a 1-day deal). Some days the overcast hasn't been quite as dark as other days, but they are all pretty much dreary days with no solar gain.

Did you get any "free" electric on those type of days?

Sounds like they found the guy, offed himself.
I suppose this means deer rifle season opens Saturday as previously scheduled.

Usually just enough to cover my usage plus a couple of kwh to share with the neighbors. I consume anywhere from 5.5-10 kwh (mostly depends on clothes dryer usage). (Blue is produced and orange is what was consumed). This week so far:

Last week there were two days it was so, so dark, that I couldn't even make the 5.8 & 6.1 kw hours I used on the 20th and 21st. On the 22nd it produced 8.9 kwh and I used 9.5 kwh

This is from an over-panneled system that consists of twenty 400w panels. I would expect October to be more like March's numbers (and in March we had the massive snow storm and a 3-day power outage). but instead the production is 200 kwh behind March.

Despite the excessively overcast summer, with lots of rain in June and July, I'm still way ahead on my net metering so I'm not complaining. Well, I am, but that is what I do - LOL

Changed the serpentine belt on the truck today. Looked like the original belt from 2009. Is rather change it at home than on the side of the road. I've had a spare uber the seat for 3 years. Luckily the rain held off until I was done.

I remember seeing people get indoor drier vents for the winter season (electric dryer). I would wait until the basement humidity gets down a bit, but there is no reason to be using electricity to heat the outside either. Who has one, what type do you have, and what are your likes/dislikes about it? BTW, I'm not necessarily looking for a $5 special
    I like that color.

I love it when the carpet is pulled out and replaced by wood or other flat surfaces. Carpets stink and harbor so much dirt. All my floors are ceramic tiles—all the same.

My son is putting up his garage. It will be two stories high and have an apartment upstairs, the garage is huge. The third bay is much longer and very high.

thanks. I'm not a fan of carpet. This is the first flooring in the house for many years. Just been bare wood for a long time now.
