    Glad I planted the garlic yesterday as today and tomorrow is all rain. Then Sat Sun Mon is snow.

    79 today. Projected 78 Friday and Saturday.
    All the windows open.

    Saturday I'm meeting up with some guys in my family and we're going to hike Breakneck Ridge in NY overlooking the Hudson River. Hoping for some good views. Otherwise I'm pretty well done with the heat. Looking forward to some cooler temps.

    No fire this morning. Outside temp was around 60 early this AM but now it is down to the upper 40's. Looks like I will get a fire going sometime before supper.

    -13c/8f this morning with sun and light snow. I left the house with coals this am but will relight this afternoon. Unseasonably cool weather for the year will continue for a bit longer but at least it wont rain for the little goblins!

    Last couple days of warm weather, high of 67. Moved about 1/3 cord to the porch yesterday. Wood stacked and cover since November of 2018.

    Starting to get colder here. Currently 2 above but will be below zero in the morning. Glad my boy killed his bull yesterday. It was 12 above when we drug it out. the 14 inches of snow we got over the last few days isn't melting at all yet.
