I stream music 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. One must persue new ventures else things get a bit monotonous.

Seriously though...for background music while piloting a computer at a desk...not bad.

Right now? The faint sound of a train rumbling outside, far off, and my wife shifting position in the bed - part of her morning routine. She’ll be up soon.

Music-wise, yesterday, the Melvins. Just put (a) Senile Animal, Nude with Boots, and Houdini on shuffle and let ‘er rip.

    Good morning, y’all.

ps The Wood Wolverine I gotta check that Les Claypool out. Been a Primus fan for many years (since Frizzle Fry; Good gravy I’m old)

Would you believe I was listening to this song on the way home from work yesterday? You should because I did.

Scrolling through this thread from page one. Been wondering if someone was gonna mention “Meddle” and there you are. If you haven’t seen the video above, enjoy.

For those interested in old Krautrock, NEU!’s first album (self-titled) is a good one.

Like Hank III x1000. Wish he’d keep at it. I am especially fond of Lovesick, Broke and Driftin’ (album), but there are gems on Risin’ Outlaw too - namely Wayne the Train’s track “Thunderstorms and Neon Signs”.

About 15 years ago I was going through a nasty divorce and Hank III got me through it... kind of. Maybe "Stoned and Alone" and "Blue Devil" aren't the best things to be listening to when you're a ball of nerves and drinking like a fish :picard: Either way, I still listen to III every now and again and it brings back a lot of memories.

Nice that you picked up on that :handshake: I'm going to build a cabin some day using that ratio for the length, width, height, and roof pitch. That'll be my divine getaway in the woods.

Ok that settles it. Youse and me, we need to talk. Cut from similar musical cloth, we are. And that cloth is one loud, beautifully ugly, mashed-up, patched-up quilt.

My favorite from the Blues Explosion is Now I Got Worry.

We should post up some RL Burnside for Oldhippie and the other blues fans on the forum. I’ve seen him/them put up a lot of blues guys but RL ain’t there, amongst many others. OH probably has most of them in his massive collection, but still.

    Mississippi John Hurt
    Howling’ Wolf (my favorite)
    Lightnin’ Hopkins
    Mississippi Fred McDowell
    Charley Patton
    Blind Willie Johnson
    Muddy Waters (of course)
    …and on and on

The Wood Wolverine Have you heard the Deluxe Re-issue with the second disc of more tracks? Great stuff, even if not *quite* as tight as the OST.
