They ALWAYS land in front of the tire. I wheelbarrow a load almost every day in burning season from stacks to front porch. Same wheelbarrow I've had for 25+ years, finally put new wheel and tire on this spring!
Last week one year ago, we already had snow on the ground. Fixed it to read "last year" Haven't had any snow this season yet.
I just put a new tire on mine too. It’s a never flat. I got tired of constantly having to air up the old inflatable tire. As you can see from my picture, my wheelbarrow is really old too. I remember my dad using it when I was a little boy. It’s probably 30-40 years old. Still gets the job done though!
My 8 cubic foot two wheeler. Ten bundles in there. Its the wood shuttle at my bundle wood storage. If the ground is very dry or frozen i can drive back there otherwise its the wheelbarrow. The only drawback to a two wheeler is a wider path needed.
Got it that way with it bent. Only replaced wheels. Not perfect and a little wobbly but serves the purpose. Thanks for the kind words. Those are bundle quality splits. They get preferential treatment.
Are the bundle quality splits more cleaner looking, better dimensional sizing? I'm curious how you grade them. Been thinking about selling some wood, I cut much more than I can use.
Straight and mostly knot free. I like to tetris fit them in the bundling jig before i wrap. I try to get them well covered ASAP after cut so they are cleaner. Lesser grade splits go for general cordage. I only wholesale bundles. I retail cordage. If youve got extra to sell go for it. Nothing wrong with making a few bucks on what you enjoy doing.
Those are some nice splits! Nice two wheeled pusher too! I thought I had an in on a free one today through Nextdoor. But I was a little too late in responding. I’ll keep my eyes peeled though!
