    Morning all. yesterday didn't turn out really sunny, just overcast with no rain. I am hoping today is the same so I can get the lawn mowed this afternoon. Shadow has been telling me that the grass is too long.
    Bookkeeping, curling and baseball with maybe a little football thrown in there. Busy day. I have been able to set up laptop to remote into my main computer so I can work on bookkeeping while watching a game. I am working on knitting a pair of socks as well. You can get a lot done between innings or the whistle during football. There are so many commercial breaks as well.

    T.Jeff Veal With a group that is organized, it doesn't take long to do. Nice to see a mix of ages in the group. Delivering must take longer as each recipient probably wants to talk to you.
    We hold a church potluck on the first and third Sabbath of the month. This week there was more than enough left over so our Pastor and wife took the extras to our homeless in our community or to those families who didn't make it to church.

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... Did get some firewooding done yesterday... Had gotten a small score from a coworker who brought to work that he found the day before... Some kinda of maple... fairly heavy and the picture app didn't want anything to do with a maple... Split that out of the truck and filled up the second tote (read water tank)... and then proceeded to buck a few logs... Man those powder beetle/borers so made a mess of the honey locust over the summer...

    30 degrees and probably will dip a bit lower. Then we are forecast to see 70 for 2 days this week, but wet.

    Morning all. Yes, I got the lawn cut yesterday. Sun came out and a breeze happened so it was not soaking wet to cut. We have a Stihl batter lawnmower and I was impressed at how well it cut long damp grass. Not a big area so it didn't take much in the way of battery power.
    Dentist appointment today so not at work. Hopefully I can get some shopping in as well.
    Well, when you work on a knitting project, you have to pay attention to what you are doing. Baseball was too exciting and one of the socks is longer than the other. I try to knit them two at a time so they come out the same length but I guess one pair got more attention than the other. Back to square one. The pattern looks funny so I will have to tear down and start again.

Which is ironically around the time that we usually start... Halloween ... With the high percent of moisture for the next week figured I'd better do it while its dry...

    Planning to do more of what we did yesterday.


    Yesterday Sam and I started another storm clean up job.
    Lots of oak down, and quite a few dead standing trees, or trees that lost their tops in the storms.
    We cut 3 loads, & got two of em hauled home.
