He has a YouTube channel that he still does ported saw vids on I believe. Or do you mean Dozer Dan... I think I've purchased saw parts from him on eBay several times.
Last I heard a local got several saws ported by Dan but I think he threw in the towel after. That's been a few years ago too. His 346's were stout. His personal 2171 was absolutely insane.
