    Thanks

yesterday I couldn’t move without pain. “Good” Pain killers were my friend.

this morning, not even the same. I’ve pretty much been without pain meds since 6 pm. It’s now 6:30 AM.

    Well I’m home.

Not only do I have a pulmonary embolism, but they gave me antibiotics for pneumonia too.

    as to what’s next…

I have meetings scheduled with a pulmonary specialist and an hematologist. I also have a meeting with my cardiology team.

I've been minding my neighbors OWB while he is on vacation this week and it burns what can only be described as a terrifying amount of wood. Glad I got a gasser.

Those are nasty and deadly. Had one in my early 30's. Now you have to be extra careful about getting cut. Make sure you have access to a first aid kit at home and in your car. Read up on taking care of cuts. Make sure your wife knows. Also, no asprin or motrin or any other anti-inflammatory meds.

Oh, this is the third time I’ve had anticoagulants since 2015. After my heart attack in 2015 and again in 2018 when I had complications from an angioplasty in my right arm.

my word I wanted to take a hatchet to my elbow to kill the pain.

this is my first PE though and I’m more scared of it than my heart attack.

We got a call from our oldest son and his wife. They told us their oldest girl just got engaged today. I guess the wedding won't be until next year. This is our oldest grandchild. Fun times ahead. Looks like we are getting closer to being great grandparents.
