Just as well on the saw cc requirement. Tiny little saws can be electric. Real saws have more than 45cc anyway. A reasonable solution for chainsaws. Now splitters? It helps that they are stationary, think corded and not battery and reasonable technology exists.
The Stihl MSA 300 is no slouch , have been doing logs up to 20"diameter 2 battery's and a bit does half a cord . This is for those who have not seen the video.
Well, I’ve used it a few times, and it works alright for keeping near the chipper to make cuts to assist pieces in feeding. Battery was sufficient for the duration of the job. Nothing to write home about, but it did the job.
