More like you were so busy enjoying the days off, there wasn't any time in the day.

 

Morning all. Summer arrived yesterday. It was warm and dry. I didn't get the grass cut after work though. Baseball happened. Prayer meeting as well. Our prayer meetings are by Zoom as our church family is spread over a larger area. In the winter it is nice not to have to drive to the church at night.
It is a short work week but a lot is being packed into the week. Pray for the schools in your area. There is so much going on in students lives now that it can be rather overwhelming and scary.

Only had Sunday off. Got off Sunday AM, back Monday AM. Fixing to enjoy some days though

 

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 64° and rain, started about dark last night. It's my FRIDAY......going on a short visit to see a cousin near Nashville, got tickets to the DAWGS game Sat at Vanderbilt. Looks like I'll get all my 7 days off. Planning a different kind of job next week, building a nice size deck for our son's boss lady.

Planning to cut a few oak trailer deck boards for the BIL sometime today....not a ton of ambition this morning after yesterday...

Tom has a toothache,☹️ so I did all the cutting work, while Sam Kubota-ed all day.
Only one load of sorta sawlogs, sent 5 trailer loads of firewood logs home with the BIL.
I thought it was kind of a charity job / clean it up for the logs deal, but then the folks handed me $400 because they were so happy with our work!

Good morning! 53F and cloudy, rain moving in later today. I'll probably take an early/long lunch. All the loose stacks in the firewood stand were cleaned out yesterday and I'd like to get them filled up before the rain gets here. Probably so honey do things tonight and maybe some work in the shop. Have a God day!
