Only thing that really works for me is Aleve, and seems to work faster than Tylenol. I can't take anything with Ibuprofen in it.

Ibuprofen is the only thing that works for me on pain. I try to limit taking it cause I know it's not good for you. My mind and body have become used to the chronic pain I've had for 20 years now. So I usually only take it a couple nights a week to get some decent sleep.
Have been on morphine and Oxycontin in the past. Work fantastic, but yes very addictive.

I also make and use my own cannabis CBD tincture which works well but I have to stop it every 6-8 months for a bit cause the body builds up a tolerance to it if taken regularly.

Had to order another proof of fire disc. I just replaced it in Jan 2022. The original lasted over ten years. I guess they just dont make things like they used to.

Putzed in the front entry last night. Wife wanted the floor down as bugs(big scary spiders) were coming in. Caulking the cracks/seams before I put down the cement board. Sills insulated w/2" R13 rigid foam. Joists insulated to r23 rock wool(5.5") and topped with 2" of R13 rigid foam board plus a vapor barrier. And back to pointing the stone foundation. Knee's no likey this chit!!

We do a decent amount of traveling, with our current newest vehicle getting older and higher miles I picked up a new, slightly used ride. This is the wifes car, she always gets the newest ride.

First subaru for us. So far I like it, but maybe a little to much inside technology. I've always bought GM, decided to try something different.

Almost anything newer has more technology than I know what to do with. Some of that has to do with governmental regulations (ie, they must have a backup camera - which I rarely use - I can still twist my body as well as use my side mirrors).

I've heard Subarus are good, just watch out for rust underneath. Of course that is probably from decades ago and they most likely fixed that issue since then.

Don't ask the 2005 - 2017 Toyota Tacoma owners about that. 12+ years and they're still replacing frames under recall. Best strategy was to wait until the truck wouldn't pass inspection due to frame rot through, then Toyota would replace it. If you took it in any earlier, they would spray a thick, black coating on it to hide everything, and your recall was done.....couldn't bring it back again. I had a guy I worked with in NY that went through it with 2 Tacomas.....he learned his lesson on the 1st one. Terrible.

I still couldn't understand why he bought a 2nd one w/ the same issues that Toyota never fixed.
