I went out mid week to the farm I cut at for a quick load of wood and was surprised how short the grass is as we are in spring down here in Australia (cows are doing a good job)and with a nice weekend weather forecast I decided to take the caravan out and have a few nights of camping. My mum and dad came out in their bus and my daughter brought out her camper trailer and I got a nice load in the trailer as well. Campfires and a few beers is my happy place. Anyway I know you guys like some pics from the other side of the world so here you go.

No lack of campfire wood there.
Looks like a great spot to be hanging out.

I got a fright when I was cutting late one afternoon when I stumbled across these little fellas, I was lucky they were settling down for the night as I had been cutting at the other end of the log. I turned the saw off picked up what I’d cut and left the rest until next time. I checked the next day and they’d moved on but a few were hanging around.

What kind of wood are you sawing?
I work for a Australian lumber company in Virginia USA.
