Morning all. Last day of work for this week. Dark outside but I think it is clearing off. A little rain, a little sunshine has been the order of the day for the last couple of days. I think the grass needs cutting again. Looking forward to Sabbath and a day of rest.

Good evening, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Started my 7AM-7PM shift for the weekend. We were gonna work on the woodyard, but we are enjoying a visit with out grandson, Jeffery.
Praise GOD some things worked in our son's favor yesterday in court.
Jeffery is 5 yrs old, we have never been allowed to keep him, even for a few hrs. Jeff was never allowed to bring him over by his self. Her parents could keep Jeffery any time.
She left Jeff 4 months ago, we saw Jeffery 1 time at his birthday party in July.
She was wanting $2500 back child support and her attorney fees paid by Jeff, with him having supervised visitation...
The judge said $1250 by end of year, she pays her attorney fees.
And he gets Jeffery every other weekend...
Farwood can wait.
The other assets will be decided soon.

We'll be heading north today, into NH. Meeting with friends for to lunch and to bring back 2 plastic pallets. Looking forward to seeing them.

Maybe another stop or two while in NH.

Good Morning. It is raining here too. We needed it after our drought this past summer. We will be warming up to the 80s which will last through mid-week.

 

Good morning everyone! I got quite a bit done around here this week so nothing on the agenda for this weekend. The pool is closed but its too hot to do firewood so kinda in limbo for a while.

Planning to sticker some 1x pine this morning, then more unplanned work.

Yesterday I sawed lumber solo, Sam was chipping scraps, and Tom was doing office work.
I got a bit accomplished.... pretty ratty looking logs, but they were solid and made some decent boards.

Morning all. Dark and overcast this morning but no rain until tomorrow - maybe? We will see what the day brings.
Prayers for me today as I have the sermon at church. Praise the Lord is the topic

Persecution in Jerusalem had the believers in Jesus headed out to different parts of the country to escape. Some ended up in Antioch. Keeping the good news of Jesus to themselves was not an option as they were full of joy and enthusiasm. Soon they began to share not only with the Jews in the city but also with the Gentiles who were thrilled to hear the good news. The Jerusalem council sent Barnabas to find out what was going on. Barnabas was so overwhelmed by the work that the Holy Spirit had been doing in Antioch, he went and found Paul and they worked together teaching and preaching the good news of salvation to both Jews and Gentiles. It was here in Antioch that the believers who were preaching and talking about Christ so much, came to be called Christians. I pray that the same could be said of each of us.

Clear start to the day with a bright moon shining. Low 70's and sunny later.

We had a pleasant lunch with friends yesterday. Brought back the plastic pallets. I hope to get to those starting later this morning.

I have a Lowes gift card. I'll be heading their with a friend for a few small things.

Rest day today....and it's my wife's birthday, so maybe I'll take her out for a late lunch or something...

Worked solo again yesterday, I got the lumber stickered in the AM....



Had to make more stickers to finish the job....

In the afternoon I got a load of 4' cedar logs ready to saw someday next week.....



My wife brought in some cherry tomatoes from her garden last night.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 60°, I think, this morning, nice ride to work with the window down. Might get to low 80's, beautiful day, while I'm working 7AM-7PM shift. Miss my church family today.
It's been quiet on the woodyard last couple evenings. We finally got to spend some quality time with our 5yr old grandson, Jeffery.
He really enjoyed the visits as well. He got to play with his cousins too.

Morning all. Yesterday was sunny and gorgeous. Beautiful sunset. This morning started with a lovely sunrise with a pinkish rainbow behind us. Once the sun got high enough it has disappeared behind the low hanging overcast. I think the prediction of rain will be accurate.
End of the month bookkeeping today and the final game of the regular season for the Blue Jays. I guess they will be in the first round of playoff baseball. I hope they do well.
