Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have FABULOUS FRIDAY. 65° and partly cloudy. We have the big yard to tidy up this morning, we cut it last Saturday, doesn't look like it needs it, just a few leaves have fallen. It's their money though, we can find a home for it.
Then :sleeping:...start 7PM-7AM shift this evening, days off are over...:(:(...
MikeInMa may Jesus give your dad a healing touch and the procedure go smoothly.

Had a senior moment yesterday. Went to a town about 25 miles away as I had a package needed dropped off at UPS. While going there I figured I may as well get some groceries. When I got home and was unloading the car, I found a package... Have to go back there today.

It happens, at least you got groceries and didn't leave them in the car.

    Good morning y'all.

65/81 soggy, we upwards of one inch of rain overnight.

Planning to edge a bunch of cedar slabs today, and hopefully deliver a load of cants as well.

Morning all. yesterday blossomed out into a lovely sunny day. I hope today does as well. Didn't get the grass cut as other things cropped up. Our favourite summer eatery has only a few more days to be open so we went and supported them. It has an outdoor patio with glass surrounding it to ward off the breezes. It was nice but the sun was dropping so not as warm as it looked. Busy as well as the locals are coming for the last few times. Sawdust Man no fried ice cream. their specialty for dessert is Swedish pancakes with Jam which campinspecter loves. they were almost out of jam so it was chocolate syrup instead.

Last day of work for the week. I know that the first couple of weeks of school, students and staff usually are sick but this year it is unreal. We nearly had to shut down as so many staff were away. not a lot of substitutes to draw from.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! 69F and sunny. No rain in the foreseeable future and it's really dry. The firewood stand has several empty bins so I'll get them filled tonight. I'll probably cut and/or split a little as time allows. Have a God day!

Yeah, that's on the bright side! It worked out okay too because I got to see one of my adopted granddaughters! Love seeing her but I can imagine some customers were wondering when she saw me and came over with a big hug. Let 'em wonder! btw, she is the manager of a Tractor Supply Store.

What makes those pancakes Swedish? I've been around lots of Swedes (lots of them on the UP) but never heard of those.

I believe Swedish pancakes are really thin, almost like crepes.

    Good morning, members.

Cool rainy day ahead. Not getting out of the 60's.

Just lit off the wood stove. Another small fire of chunks. Being overcast for the day, I might burn a little longer than past mornings.

Thanks for the kind words. Everything went as expected.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning everyone! No rain forecast for the next week or so. I'll take it! I might actually have to water the outside flowers.

Good Morning. Curious as to how many hours you all sleep most nights. I typically get 5-6 hours before I want to get up.

Making habanero jelly today to wrap up the garden canning for the season. I may yet make some pesto with all the basil, but that is simply put in the freezer.

I feel lucky to get 7hrs of sleep.

I fall asleep ok, but once up for biological reasons(once a night), rarely am I able to fall back asleep.
