    Ha! I like the way you think!:yes: My shed is about 30 feet from my garage where I have a small 4 foot by 4 foot single row rack. So I still have to take a load in every several days during the winter.

    That’s powerful, brother. I really feel you. My wife and I are high school sweethearts. She’s my rock. She keeps me grounded. She is the best mom I could ever ask for, for my boys.

    She’s also significantly out of my league.

    I thank God for her every day. I can’t imagine my life without her.

    That will still work. Just split some super small and you have it. Also remember it takes no longer to put up prime firewood than it does lesser stuff so keep cutting that oak!

    Some wood migrated right into the stove.

    Windows left open overnight. 64⁰ indoors this morning. Windows still open.

    Had the 1st lighting of the season. Burning summer off of it. Just a few chunks.

    Wow, still a ways off for 1st fire here. 55 this AM, we do keep a few windows cracked overnight and I have 68 inside. It's supposed to hit 78. I love this weather. :salute:

    I offered to help my son split wood this weekend so if that happens, I won't be carrying more for myself. I'm chomping at the bit to get those last 2 rows filled up. :stack::stack::stack::stack::stacker:

    57 here too, 97% humidity w dew point @ 56. Sweatshirt weather unless working. Predicting 77 today and 79 tomorrow for highs. Still no mugginess so it isn't bad.

    Got out of work an hour early today. Since the temps went down a bit (75), decided to haul 3 more trailer loads and pack my well area.

    Stacked almost all of the 3 loads this morning waiting for the rain to stop. I think I’m going to like the sling. Used it the entire time and it really helped the hands. No more gripping 2 pieces at a time.

    After this, I helped saw a tree up for dad. When I got home, I threw the one last load of red oak in the trailer and into the basement. That’ll wait for another day, maybe tomorrow. :loco: :crazy:
    Then I cleaned up and leveled the pallets and started moving the honey locust. Really came to like the 7’ + privacy fence my stack provides.
