    My buddy with a tree service just dumped me another load of nice firewood..surplus of poplar logs and i got a splitter now so i might entertain selling some firewood this year 0098F419-540F-46CE-81F8-53DE428633AE.jpeg

    Im going to split it all now but wait til next season to sell i dont want people hating me for bringing them green wood

    Around here most would forget to type the semi- part. Heck, I know some who will split oak and say it's bone-dry and ready to burn.

    Thank you sir! My wife was not too fond she opened the door and said “YOURE A HOARDER” with a look of disgust…i told her its okay i got the splitter comin this week ill get it cleaned up quickly!

    Yes i think a lot of firewood guys think if the tree was cut down 2 months ago its seasoned by the time they cut it into rounds and split it

    I love cutting poplar probably my favorite wood to cut and the smell reminds me of a product called bactine they use it in tattoo shops
