    Actually it's not mine, we're working for someone else..... technically their taxes should go down, because it's only about half the sq ft it was before the storm destroyed it.

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... Had a decent day puttering around the firewood pile yesterday... Split some and cut some... Those Post Powder Borers... man did they make a mess of that Honey Locust... But while splitting everyone that freed its self of the whole it was in... Became candy for the chickens... It was funny... the old girls knows whats up... it took a few rounds and the youngin' started to get involved.... Even managed to get them a couple of grasshoppers yesterday while it was cool and they weren't moving much...

    Decent day yesterday brining wood on-site and then, bringing shoulder wood to the deck.

    Hoping I can do a little bit of work today but not sure. maybe I could at least get the log splitter out of the barn and set up where I need to split. It gets tougher all the time trying to do some work as this body is pretty beat up. Can hardly walk the last couple of days and this morning no different. Nasty. :headbang:

    Morning all. Poured rain all day yesterday but I had a good day. Blue Jays swept Boston (sorry MikeInMa ), BC Lions won Sat., I spent the day with 6 kids learning about Jesus and finally went out to dinner with my Mom, brother and husband. I am so blessed to still have Mom celebrate my birthday with me. It was a bit of an adventure as the resort restaurant where we originally booked a table lost their power and the road getting there was shut down. We turned around and went somewhere else.

    Back to work at the school today. This week should be a bit calmer, still lots of work but as I keep saying, one piece of paper at a time.

    You are blessed to still have your mother. I lost my mother 21 years ago. She was 82. Lost my MIL a few years earlier and she was 95.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. A nice 56° this morning, forecast for low 80's again, clear skies. Off today...:banana:...got several :tractor: jobs to do, brush hogging for 3 different people. Maybe we can split some more oak this evening, need to get that shed finished, got a small splitting job to do Thursday off site.

    60/86 probably muggy because it's supposed to rain tomorrow.

    Planning to go put the finishing touches on the barn today.
    Yesterday we got everything done except building new doors for the far end....that's today's project.
