Baffle board repair

    Many users have broken baffle boards, so I wanted to show some photos of my repair using furnace cement.
    I replaced the notorious Quadrafire hole bricks, so also took a stab at repairing them too.
    The repair turned out stronger than I expected, but won't be able to test fire for a month. Burning season still a long way off here in the South.

    This is Lynn Superwool. I liked it and it's stiffer than others I've used, but it broke the first year. Just been limping it along for a few years now.

    I've done this several times, never had one break in the same spot again...works great on firebrick too!
