You live on the other side of the continent and our lives intersect thorough a common event. The internet has certainly changed our lives. Just look at how big a family we have created on FHC.

Morning All. Heavy overcast today which hopefully will burn off later. Showers of rain are predicted for the weekend though. My brother is trying to paint a deck for Mom while he is visiting. I hope he gets a clear window to do it.

Back to Peter's vision while he was praying on the rooftop. God was pretty specific when telling the vision and interpreting it. There is no favourtism in God's plan of salvation. The gift is there for everyone. The choice to accept or reject is also there for everyone. Although we might not agree with someone's choice, it is their choice. Let's pray that everyone hears about the gift of salvation and makes the choice to accept it.

Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. Acts 10: 34, 35

    What breed are they?
Most heritage/layer breeds are tough eating by the time they are big enough to process.

They were I believe Red Crimpson Wyandotte. Beautiful Rooster… but can’t have Roosters in city limits…

Took a road trip to Michigan to a model train show. Checked out some actual railroad locations as well. Finally got home to refill the firewood stand, make bundles and kindling bags. It was a busy but productive day![IMG][IMG][IMG]

Good morning. Rose extra early. Our local grocery store is open all night, so I will run there with the wife’s list and get that done before dawn. Finishing off the tomato sauce today.

Good morning everyone. We are finishing closing the pool today. I think we spent more time maintaining it this crappy Summer than we were in it.

    Good morning, members.

Nice day ahead. Dewpts in Mid-40's. Mid-70's later. Rainy day tomorrow.

The hurricane was a non-issue here, fortunately.

It'll be a fine morning to bring some wood from across town, with the help of a friend with a PU. It's some ash I was working a few weeks ago. We'll probably go out for breakfast afterwards.

    Football this afternoon.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

It may be ugly but it does what it is supposed to do. Shelter and protect. Great use of older materials.

Morning all. Grey and overcast this morning. Rain yesterday with the sun coming out briefly just before sunset. Church meeting today and then out for dinner with my brother, mother and husband tonight. I am blessed to have all three here on my birthday.

    Everyone have a great day.

That's the way old barns are supposed to look. I think Sawdust Man and boys have done a fine job with what they had to work with.

We took a pot of chicken and dumplings over to the church this morning, hosting a meal for our neighbor's family. We walked in to a mess...
Men's restroom is above our social hall, plumber had worked on a leaking pipe earlier this week...that didn't fix it... 0917230848_HDR.jpg

Called for back-up, manned a couple mops and I went home and got the 2 fans we use on the woodyard. Got it dried before the funeral. Have to replace 8 ceiling tiles. Plumber came and capped off the 1 1/2" pipe.
