    IMG_8093.jpeg IMG_8094.jpeg IMG_8095.jpeg IMG_8096.jpeg IMG_8097.jpeg IMG_8098.jpeg

A lot of thrashing will be chipped . I request 1 18 wheeler load for low spots

the bulldozer will back drag trails

the main trails I kept open last 15 years they and landowner like that.. saves time for next time

BUT the old landings which is my processing area is taking a beating

Double trailer log trucks are heavy and a LOT of rain this year

Definitely wet in the woods! Hoping for a dryer fall. In theory, things should dry out a bit this weekend with the wind.

Those big hollow logs are some of my favorites to hand split. Just go right around the edge! Cool it finally worked out for ya

    impressive to watch;
    Mostly hemlock headed to Canada

My stone driveway has held up remarkably well to a dozen log trucks a week.

Very cool. I often see log trucks heading up 91….from parts of Mass….up to Canada. Often wondered of the economics of hauling all that distance.

Skier76 I will ask what the rough numbers are but my house to border is less than 20 minutes

little less excited them running up and down your driveway you just rebuilt

it seems to be holding up pretty well

Brother in f350 dually pulling 24 foot enclosed work trailer met log truck loaded leaving and I missed the picture
BUT it was a good one. Brother proved he can reverse..

Drive is 1/4 mile 7% grade on both hills with 100 yards of flat in middle over the swamp with 6’ drop off.
2 ends cannot see other :salute::rofl:

Do they give you any compensation for using your access? Or do they have to maintain it?

They would if I asked; I talked to JCMC And other when I re-built driveway it’s holding up fine. Went down 18” laid HD road fabric then 12-14” of 3/4 waited a year to pack, then average 6-8 inches shur pack on top..

I having them clear stump and dozer about another acre of land for a shipping container storage. Then drop me off 6-7 cord firewood ( they have processor)

other neighbor owner trucking company I will get another 34 yards of fines on top after they grade.

In short let truckers … truck
    Woodsman work the woods

they will also back drag main trails and chip brush on farmers land that I use (don’t build on but I like trails for snow shows, wheelers tractor) and don’t pay taxes on. I can cut down and dead firewood on.

It would probably cost me 10 grand or 5 years to clear stump and doze 1.5 acres they will do it while equipment is here in 5 hours.. that’s better than $$
