Keeping it above the level of your heart is the only way to minimize the throbbing ?

Just saw there is a frost warning for somewhere in northern Minnesota in about 8 hours from now...supposedly the first one in the states for winter '23-'24

Down pouring now. By the time Hurricane Lee arrives here on Saturday, the ground will be saturated. Should result in a lot of blow down. Trees are top heavy with leaves. The apple trees are very much at risk. Farmer's apple crop will be on the ground and there will be tree loss. Power outages are anticipated. I have two generators, both reasonable new. Problem is I can't move them due to physical limitations. We are considering having one of those automatic generators.

Best investment you could make. Ours is virtually seamless and will run the entire house for 3 weeks with the propane storage I have in place. No muss no fuss, just sit back and relax. Automatically starts, switches over, switches back and shuts off whenever needed.

Road trip went well to the supplier of mine in Northwestern Illinois. My coworker was tired and had me drive the majority of the way home. That hybrid maverick is pretty nice. 40 mpg all day at 75 mph. Outside of the brakes being a little more touchy than non hybrid cars without any sort of regenerative braking, it acted just like s regular car, but with a bed.

Not looking good for eastern Massachusetts, eastern New Hampshire and all of Maine with current LEE track models suggesting a slight turn west rather than east on its northerly path.

I have a friend that got one of those automatic generators (she's in late 60's and her mother, who she cares for, is just a bit older than that ;)). She loves it.

It'll come in handy this winter as some of the pieces of firewood I cut were for an older wood furnace and ended up being too long. I'll just cut them up and I find them in the wood room. Won't have to carry them outside or nuttin, no sir!
