I find it shocking that anyone still believes in "the scientists".

The covid debacle should be enough to make even the most loyal sheep ask questions.

I'm not sure what you're expecting. I use many of the same resources you either use or have immediate access to. The difference is which sources within your sources you are applying to your argument. All of the links you shared, and I skimmed through them, basically say the gases I mentioned earlier are bad and humans are to blame. But there is no proof provided. It's just written in an authoritative manner that makes it sound as if some trial was held and a guilty verdict was given and we're the reporters outside assuming all of the evidence in the courtroom proves the verdict beyond a reasonable doubt.

I'll ask again. What is so bad about CO2, N2O, and CH4? These are naturally occuring gases. Plants NEED and thrive on CO2. As a matter of fact, many greenhouses increase the concentration of CO2 to boost the productivity and health of the plants.

    Carbon Dioxide in Greenhouses

What Can CO2 Enrichment Do for Your Greenhouse?

As far as I know, until recently anyway, the only talk of "carbon emissions" has been directed towards CO2. Why? What is so scary about CO2 in an environment that not only requires it for survival but thrives in higher concentration levels?

Have you also noticed how they control the language? It's not Carbon Dioxide anymore... it's Carbon. Why would they do this other than to give the impression that CO2 is a nasty, dirty pollutant? I believe George Carlin once said: "You control the language, you control the thought".

So the planet needs CO2 to survive. But does it cause warming? Apparently not.

You can access the data from this website:

CO2 lags temperature rises in ice core data

The raw data is available here:

    Vostok

I'll save you some time. But the data shows that CO2 follows temperature increases and falls after temperature decreases. Meaning as the oceans warm they emit more CO2.

So how is this possible? The governments around the world are trying to have you believe the opposite. Why is that? Those are the questions you should be asking yourself and that we should be able to have civil discussion over. You are being told that if we spend more money on reducing CO2 emissions that we are going to save the planet. So we tank the economy, place a heavier burden on those already struggling to get by, and keep people throughout the world in cyclical poverty.

And this works because one of the highest motivators to get people to be comfortable with divorcing their money is guilt. You've implied it yourself that "we must have some impact on the planet". Yes, yes we do. But CO2 emissions isn't the issue. I'm a conservationist by nature. We should absolutely be good stewards of the planet. Wrecking economies and people losing their jobs and livelihood over a claim with no proof to back it up is not the way we should be performing those duties.

"But it is the awareness itself that will drive the change, and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global government" - Al Gore

I really appreciate this. Thoughtful, intelligent and without a whiff of condescension. My wife is traveling this week which means I’m on kid duty—I’ll dig into this when I can.

Have you heard of any bank declining to loan a hundred million bucks for a development on the Florida coast- because they fear it will be under water in ____ fill in the blank on number of years proclaimed.

And why do so many of the climate alarmist (icebergs melting/sea level rising etc. etc.) own beachfront property?!

Here is another thought and this is my opinion and belief....we have a Creator that will take care of His creation. This does not mean that we shouldn't do what we can to conserve and care for what has been given to us for our enjoyment. Sometimes I feel that we think to highly of ourselves and what we as humans are capable of affecting.

This is just one example out of a sea of them that reinforces my complete distrust in the "science is settled" climate worshiping crowd.

I have a close friend that is a published scientist. Not only does he have an MD in internal medicine from the university of Michigan but he also has a Masters degree in Chemistry. He quit his practice over COVID and is now working in the field of theoretical physics of all things. Genius level IQ. He will tell you that studies from anything can be manipulated and approved as fact if the peers that review the studies agree / want the same results. It used to be that a peer reviewed study was darn near the word of God, so to speak, now much of them are corrupted with political / social justice nonsense and money. Millions of our dollars given to "scientists" for "research". As far as I'm concerned ZERO tax dollars should support any scientific research.

Thank you for this thoughtfully written post and the links. I'll be reading them thoroughly and saving them for a future conversation over this book...

lent to me by a neighbor lady who has completely bought into the sham. Of course this book of "facts" is also a compilation of "information" from scientists on down to just concerned citizens. Her words. You know, people with zero scientific backgrounds. Rubbish.
