Not a bad idea. Just as long as they dont look like mine! Of course when h#ll freezes over and i get a new new truck i wont want to put any wood in it.
It's a good truck, like ours. I think it was '04 when we got it, '01 model with 40K miles. We have replaced the 4.6L engine, got over 100K on it, the rest of the truck has 325k on it...
Gotta love cherry wood. You probably get a premium for that when selling time comes, right? Even though it's not really premium fire wood, BTU wise, everyone loves it and perception alters reality.
Gonna try to. Contacted a place that needs smoker wood and havent heard back. Its on CL as i only have a half cord CSS July last year ready. Another half CSS in February. Another half i just finished last moth and this will top off another half cord. I have a bunch that got stacked with bundle quality wood too. Worst case scenario it gets sold as is at normal rate.
This is from NOAA for our area this week, I would think your forecast would be the same or worst if this is coming from Lee. The way our summer has been, this forecast would've worked for the whole summer. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Widespread and potentially heavy rain will impact the region midweek.
What do you call a wood hoarder who unloads in a downpour? A damp fool! Unloaded maybe 1/3 with sprinkles then the sky opened up. Got drenched but truck is empty. Hope to S/S it this week. Blurry pics taken in a downpour. Lens may have gotten wet.
You certainly put a lot of faith in that tailgate Brad, or are you just wanting to go saw shopping again?
Im amazed how fast fungi grow on punky sapwood when its humid out. Noticed it yesterday on the cherry i just cut over the weekend.
I havent touched the wood from this score until the past couple days. Split several wheelbarrows worth the past couple days before dusk. Filling up a half cord rack that opened up. Few more to fill her up. Enough left to split to fill it and then some.
nice. all going to the seasoning rack? Hangin with Stumpy, for moral support and to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
