End pressure can be unreal. That's why I chain across the rows, tying the ends to each other. My rows are 7 1/2 high by 9' wide. One blow out with that would create havack in my shed.
You know what Dennis is going to say, right? If only you'd cross stacked the ends.......... I had a couple of my posts blow out that had been in the ground for several years......it was expected. A PITA, but expected.
It knows the fate that soon awaits it... It's trying to escape! It's punishment should be to go to the head of the line on Burn Row!
Yep, I had a skid bow out on me this summer. I had to unload a bit tye off with a #9 wire and reload. Quite abit of pressure as they dry and realign. Good Luck HDRock
Did the t-post bend, or did the ground give way? If the post bent, you might get a little more strength by turning them around 180° so that the "fin" side is against the wood, although that's just a guess. Or run a wire/cable along the top, tightened between the 2 ends.
The ground gave way I was going to run a wire along the top but didn't. I had a space there to walk between so the other post kinda caught them from falling on the ground

Got the picture thing straightened out thanks to Grizzly Adam. Take notice of the lack of t-posts in the pictures! T-posts are for building fences! This is a neighbor lady helping to load their wagon. Her husband had back surgery and could not cut. Now this year, he has had heart surgery. I might start to run low on wood if this keeps up. I don't even remember when that stack got there. Well, I do remember it but right now can't come up with the year it was done. Was all dead ash anyway. That is our atv in the background. This is a stack from a couple years ago or thereabouts. And finally, one from inside the barn. Very soon I'll be restocking that to get ready for winter.
I did an experimental stack end with 2 metal fence posts like that. Those 2 bent outward with only 5' stack. It does help to turn 'em 90 degrees like BASSjam said. Mostly, it's back to cross-stacking the ends for me.
