Obnoxious thunderstorm overnight brought .75" of rain (in exchange for about four hours of sleep).

Planning to saw up some more dinky cedar logs today.

Morning all. Today fog so I hope it clears up. Today the students arrive all wanting course changes NOW!. Instant gratification is the new norm - not just from students but also parents. I blame it on the phones everyone has. lol

Finally a cool day today. We had a little bit of drizzle most of the day which seems to be helping the newly planted grass seed. Precip did not show up on radar, so it was really light. It has been so dry for so long we will be thankful for any water we get.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 78° this morning, forecast for 88°. I know what you mean, Mike, about yucky. The AC quit at this house, guy came, put more Freon in it @ $300/lb, that leaked out.
We went to Ollie's yesterday, got a tower fan for our bedroom and a portable AC unit for the living area.
Probably going to find some things to do inside stores today...they have an indoor putt putt range here.
It's about like camping, making memories with friends.
Remember the GOLDEN RULE

Cool out there this morning with fog. It really cleared off nice yesterday and was warm. Too bad the Blue Jays lost.
First day back with students went not too bad. A few minor glitches as usual.
Busy day today.

Good morning! 70F and cloudy. That's the high for the day. Chance of rain but not very likely. Mrs. WinonaRail's 4Runner wouldn't start when she was getting gas yesterday but was able to get a jump from a coworker and went on to work. It started later so she took it to an auto parts store that checked the battery and confirmed that it was kaput. She brought it home. It was the original battery - 7 years old! Made a trip to Mendard's for a new battery. Thankful to have enough rebate checks to pay for all but about $5! Music practice at church tonight. Have a God day!

Morning all. Well from heavy overcast drippy fog yesterday to clear skies this morning. Yesterday we took the car down island for an oil change, spark plugs changed and tire rotation. During the tire rotation, they found no life left on the back brakes so they immediately ordered parts and did the brake job too. Really nice that we didn't have to make another trip down just to do brakes. But it took longer than our original plans for the day. campinspecter usually does oil changes and tire rotations but with his back acting up, we took the car to our favourite mechanic shop. We have been going to them for almost 40 years. The son of one owner bought out the other owner that wanted to retire so now it is a father and son operation. Son was pulling wrenches in the shop for twenty years before moving to the office. Grandson just turned 8 so it will be awhile before he joins the business.

Anyway, back to work today.
