Good late morning. I just rolled in from the old homestead. It was hot for up there. But I got a few things done.


Mowed for my Brother in law.


Got a little wood loaded to haul home.


leave are turning a little.


Dug one of the potato beds.

 

Morning all. Going to be nice day here. I hope to get the RV cover on this morning before any wind shows up. A few other miscellanies chores to do as well as bookkeeping. Hopefully the Blue Jays win a game today.

Yesterday we replaced the in-tank fuel pump on the 97 Silverado....



About half way through the job the weather went to pot for a while......

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 63° this morning. Miz Carol's back is a little better, still having some pain, but we're leaving about 9:30, heading to SC for the rest of the week. Our neighbor, Mike, will feed the cats and check on the place.
I gave Miz Carol her anniversary gift early, didn't need to haul it to SC...

Good morning! 80F and sunny, another hot day with summer holding on. I did all my chores in the morning yesterday before the heat became unbearable. Church meeting tonight and then I'll put out new "Firewood for Sale" signs on the mailbox post with solar lights. With my stand being 43' from the road (per county mandate) people drive by and don't notice it now. Have a God day!

 

Morning all. Overcast with the threat of rain today. Yesterday was nice but it kept looking like rain. campinspecter managed to get lots of clothes dry on the outside line so there was a little breeze.
We got the RV cover on yesterday morning. Being on the roof is a little un-nerving but putting it on went pretty well. The cover is little big for the unit so there is lots of room for all the vents, etc on top. Rolling around on the ground getting the straps tight and tucked away was a bit much for my knees though. I need thicker knee pads.

Off to work this morning. Only teachers and staff in the building today. The students arrive tomorrow all eager to be at school. As a kid, I would never hang around the school during the holidays but all last week, we had a small group just hanging out by the front door. The student wifi wasn't working yet so that couldn't have been why.
