Around here you almost never see such beautifully seasoned, quality wood for sale like that. Congrats on the first sale—it’s good to start collecting info on price points, how to list it, etc. Hopefully you can bump up the price a bit soon!

Well I am not going to sell a lot, so I can afford to season it properly. Sold to a friend and another guy I know with a pizza oven wants three baskets

    Gotta re-fill some cages soon!

Yep, that is very dry looking stuff. Good thing you don't need diesel money or you would have had to sell two totes worth.

No kidding! We just switched to a gas truck from a diesel SUV. I went diesel to save money but that didn’t happen

I got rid of my Cummins ram 2500 for much the same reason. Heavy, fuel sucking beast as it was. My F150 uses half the fuel and still lets me do just as much.

Hard to beat a 1/2 ton truck with a V8 for that kind of payload. It’s also 2200 lbs lighter than my ram 2500 Cummins was too.

So I need to up my production. I wanted to sell four baskets…then the one guy that wanted just one asked for another. I think he just wanted to see the quality/seasoned wood before buying more. I have another that I was going to use myself, but no problem. I also have a tote of cut-offs/uglies so we’ll burn that!
Latest load, 80% ash…the rest is maple and I threw in some locust. That’ll get his pizza oven up to temp!

I’m going to get a tonneau cover…hopefully they go on Black Friday sale.
