Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 71° and clear this morning. We just got rain and a few breezes yesterday. My SIL lives about 1 hr SE of us. No power, schools closed.
Going to the woodyard this morning, then taking grandsons to Dr app in Augusta this afternoon.

Planning to edge pine slabs this morning, then I have to make a feed run....the boys are planning to harvest a hog while I'm out.

Yesterday after a few hours of clean up time around the mill, we started the job of edging a mountain of pine, we got 135 slabs edged in about two hours.....still lots more to do.

Morning all. I didn't realize that I missed yesterday until I started reading all the posts. We got overcast skies yesterday with rain in the afternoon. I was going to cut the grass but that didn't work out. today started with fog but it is clearing off nicely now.
Off to work this morning. If it is dry this afternoon, the lawn will get cut.

Another fall-like day. Currently 55⁰ with dewpt 46⁰. Heading to low 70's.

Taking both mom and dad for their 6 month physicals. That'll use up several hours.

Morning all. yesterday turned out to be very nice so I got the lawn mowed after dinner. We went down to a resort campground and sat outside and had our meal. It is a food truck with a patio. We look out over the water to the community where Mom lives. Clear skies and air after the rain we have had. Beautiful view.

last day of work for this week. Getting prepared for the wildness of first day of school on Wednesday.

Another fall-like day! Bright moon out. Currently 57⁰ and dewpt 50⁰. Both rising over the next few days.

I'll be walking behind the lawnmower this morning.

Maybe begin preparations for bringing firewood up to the deck. Some nuggets at least.

Another beautiful morning here in the pines. Currently 53⁰ with hardly any wind. The Mrs and I were at a wedding last night so I made the coffee a little strong haha. Enjoying some time on the deck with hazel before I go pick the kids up from my parents. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Yesterday, while the boys cut up the hog....I cleaned up that mess....





Then stickered all the lumber we had edged....




Then burned up the scrap mountain....all that nice kindling T.Jeff Veal noticed yesterday....

We do have a regular customer coming to pick up a cord rack of wood....
