    I was in the hospital in 2016 when I put my femur through the back of my pelvis and destroyed my hip socket. Just another Wednesday. A week later I was allowed to go home with C.Diff. It’s a nasty bacterial infection. I didn’t have a transplant! Several prescription probiotics and lots of other nasty things like yogurt and these drinks that tasted like the transplant would! Took many weeks to get back to normal but I did eventually. Still wouldn’t get a transplant!

    It can very serious, especially in nursing homes. My neighbor was in a nursing home for rehab, C Diff made the rounds there and her room mate could not recover and died. Thank God my neighbor who late 80's at the time either didn't get it or was not susceptible. Like The Wood Wolverine mentioned saurkraut, I heard the best way to avoid and recover is fermented foods.

    Yeah not so much of a fun time for sure. It took a lot out of me. Add on all the other issues happening at that time I was basically just wiped out with zero energy to do more than sleep. Did have a good nurse in the hospital with experience with that and had some good advice. Long recovery process though and I can easily see how people succumb to it.
