Planning to try to get something done today, but I have to make a 3 hour town trip right smack in the middle of the day, so I'm doubtful much will be accomplished here.

Yesterday I worked in the shop for a couple hours, but probably not enough to even earn my keep for the day...

Good morning! 72F and mostly cloudy. Cooler than yesterday and less humid. Should be a beautiful weekend. Snagged a few pallets yesterday. I have 2 more signatures to get before my zoning hearing so that is on today's schedule. Then I need to seriously trim a weeping cherry that's covering part of the sidewalk. Have a God day!

 

Morning all. Well, my first day back at work dawned clear with fog mixed with smoke in it on the horizon. We have been very fortunate that the smoke that the rest of the province has been dealing with hasn't been a problem here. I got a few projects completed yesterday but unfortunately the day ended with the Blue Jays losing.

Good morning. My wife, our boys, their girlfriends, our daughter, her husband, granddaughter, and grandson are meeting here at 7:30 to head over the the MN state fair. Fairs are not my bag, and she has willing participants to go with her, so I am clear to work in the yard and make more tomato sauce. High of 75f today, which is nice after a week of heat.

Before going to a birthday party for my SIL later this afternoon, I'll be going to Tractor Supply with a friend. I have a gift card to use.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 72°, forecast for 100°. Saw 103 yesterday. At work we got the new automatic bagger installed, so there is plenty of nice for 2x4's. Got a few last night, removed a few nails and screws, then cut them down to firestarter size, about 11 1/2" long.
Finally got to use my miter saw stand my hunny got me last year.
After breakfast, we are cutting and delivering another load of wood.

Morning all. Yesterday was warm with no wind so now the smoke from the interior of the province wildfires have made it out to our area. Not really heavy but the sky and the light is orangey. Because of the smoke particles, we also get fog over the water. Doesn't sound like it is going to change much for today.

Saul sat in the quiet without eating or drinking. He had seen Jesus! He also realized what he had been doing for the past little while. Guilt was riding him. His blindness enabled him to focus on what just happened to him on the road to Damascus. Three days go by and Ananias receives a vision from the Lord. Go to Saul and pray for him was the Lord's message. Ananias obeyed, went to Saul, prayed for him and healed his blindness. Saul could now not only see physically but his spiritual sight was enabled. Saul immediately made his commitment known publicly as he was baptized.
God called Ananias and Saul to service for him and today he calls each of us to service for him. Today, answer the call and be a witness to the changes in your life when Jesus becomes King in your heart.

But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. Acts 9: 15
