We had an old dingy in the backyard that we filled up with water for our German shepherds. The male would wade in it but not go in the water at a beach.

Feral cat drama. A week ago at like 3 am I saw a cat go across my back porch, it only has one eye. A year or so ago another neighbor told me a frequent offender let a new cat go out here and it had babies in a semi load of logs. Today, a family from another state is here at their vacation home, 2 boys, they caught the cat. Skin and bones, very affectionate. I knew it, from the feral cat colony that family started. Guy wouldn't claim it but says "the lake is her home" and "I try to feed them but have been gone alot". Ugg!

Catch and release program here. If someone is letting their animal/pet roam my property, w/o my permission, :heidi:. For the record, I’ve never caught one with any collar or indication it was identifiable.

I love all animals, feral or not, but I am beyond irked that people think a 6-12 lb animal can fend for itself out here, this one (5lb?) is obviously suffering. Super screwed up imho. We'll likely drop food by that wood pile this winter, just really hard because it attracts raccoons and skunks and there it atleast one martin that lives in the lake bank rocks over there. (The badger got smooshed on the road a couple years ago). Very cruel thing to do to bring a kitten to this place and turn it loose and then make babies that get get starved and this one their eye poked out.

Turns out there are 3 cats out here missing an eye, must have been a chlamydia litter. Surprised they survived. We euthanized the whole litter back in the day when they came in.

More likely it's slope and commercial vs residential and I don't know the difference. It's all good :)

You see both around here. I haven't taken a poll, but I think businesses tend to have bars and residentials tend to have the "wings". My totally depend on the installer and/or manufacturer of the roof material. Or, it could be the difference between standing seam or exposed fastener metal roofs.

We stopped at a neighbors for a quick visit on the way home from the bus stop tonight. Lacey pooped on his property. Twice lol, within 10 minutes, and in our sight. Goof ball!!
