    Please say a prayer for God to take Jill into his arms. She passed at 10:45 this morning.

    Thankfully I was able to be at her side, and held her hand as she made her final journey.

    Married 30 years (a lightweight), almost 4 years of fighting cancer. We spent a lot of time in the woods with me being the one who chained up the trees to drag out and limbed/bucked. I didn't drop many trees in those days. Sure miss him.

    I understand and imagine you enjoyed the time working together. We used to work together in the woods too. My wife did most of the loading of the wood and that was after she put branches on the sawbuck. The big stuff she would roll, if possible to the trailer and then I would load. 58 1/2 years of happy marriage. Last night I had one of those wonderful dreams that we were together again!

    Here is a picture of her in one of those moments. She had put one log on the sawbuck but couldn't lift the other. I quickly grabbed the camera and, of course was teasing her. She stuck her tongue out at me! Then we laughed and hugged.
