I sent a message to one these type of ads quite awhile back . basicly i said truck, trailer, fuel, ins. brush disposal fees ect will cost the 155/hr portal to portal. The response was rather crude if you get my drift.

And the decades of nails driven into the tree, and the huge mound of dirt inside the mostly hollowed-out trunk, but yeah at least you'll get ALL the wood as a consolation prize on top of the deep personal satisfaction that comes with screwing oneself over in the name of being a nice guy

If he were in my area I'd message him in a heartbeat. Not mean but informative. Not as bad but I had someone on Facebook selling huge big leaf maple rounds green. $200 per cord to haul around from the back yard. I messaged him and we went back and forth for a bit. Nice guy. He said he got a bunch of messages from cheapskates. He ended up putting on there for free a few months after.
