I've been watching a Sterling little giant siren on eBay but it seems like they are unwilling to ship.
If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks Keith

I would bet they would ship if the price was right.
Other than trying to make it worth their while or knowing someone to do the pick-up from them and shipping it to you.

That's what I thought but I'm not getting any response at all from the seller. I'm thinking it is within UPS limits but I haven't gotten a response on the weight either.

    Holy cripes!

I wouldn't trust anyone that advertises on E-bay, doesn't allow for shipping and then does not respond to inquires. Let this one pass you by and hope you haven't given any info to them.

Its not unusual to have "local pick up only" for large items on ebay...not responding is not normal though

eBay will refund your money if you are being cheated. I've gotten several refunds.

Chaz or Joe Long would be the closest. You might give them a shout.

Hopefully not but it's not like you can go out and pick them up.
Got a reply that they put local pickup do to not being able to crate it.
Asked for a weight, I'll keep prodding.
    Wish me luck

Well the siren is coming up to the end of it's second listing. They are still unwilling to ship so if anyone has any thoughts please speak up.
    Thanks again

It's a relatively small siren. Should be able to go UPS.
Picture a 1hp motor with a 10" diameter siren on each end. UPS store is 11 miles from the seller.
