I really learn so much from you guys. From chainsaws, firewood, cigars etc etc. I love this site, and happy to be a member.

I've heard about the freezer thing as well. I've never done it myself, but wondered if it would be a smart thing since my cigars are always room temp and are between 65 and 78 depending on the time of year.

Did you ever notice any negative affects from doing that?

I cannot remember anything negative regarding the effect on cigars while I was doing that. (It was a few years ago)

But, I also didn't see any benefit to it.

Had my first cigar in quite awhile today while I mowed, other than my nightly cigarillos. The heat takes away any desire for a stogie for me. But, I had one I got from everyone's favorite forum cigar shop, JimBear Cigars . Turns out it was the perfect lawn mowing cigar. When I was done with the rider, I was finished with the cigar. It was perfect timing. It was a good cigar, good burn, good flavor, not a ton of spice, just like I prefer. Thanks James. Oh, it's a Penn Standard. Never heard of that brand before.

Got a couple orders in today. The Free Will sampler is from Cigar Page. The Man O’War’s were one of those accidental low bid wins on Cigar Bid. I’ve been looking to get the Tabak’s for a while but they always go higher than I’m willing to part with. IMG_1664.jpeg

I thought I had some of these. I believe I will give one a try tonight.

Mama is out of town so I may just have a couple of stogies tonight.

No, I got them off the regular auction. I didn’t expect to win them because they usually get run up too high but that must have been a slow day on Cigar Bid.

Try checking Freefall next time you want some. They have a 10 packs of Red Eyes for 40 bucks and a box for 90, if I remember right. Tabaks are on there often.

The box of Man O’War was too big to fit into in my cooler. So I had to take the cigars out. The wife loves the cigar boxes for her sewing room, so I typically try to only buy boxes.

I got that ten pack for 30 bucks. I can’t ever remember them going that low before.

That's a very good price. I don't recall seeing them that low either.

It's just a heads up for next time ya want some. Freefall, seems to go for about half of normal, maybe a touch higher.
