    I haven't posted in this thread yet but yall have a blessed Lord's day, be safe, and enjoy another day being woodhoarders. We are going to spend the day with my fil. He has cancer and other complications and hospice has said its days that are left. He led a good life and got to enjoy retirement for 10 or 12 years so all is ok. He's ready to meet his maker! Please remember my wife, he's the last of her family that is any count. Thank you all for the opportunity to be a part of such a great team of folks. I wish the world would think more like us, not just wooding but the fellowship we have. Happy trails. Brad and family

    Resting today, thank God.

    Didn't quite finish up the pine logs yesterday... probably tomorrow morning.

    Morning all. Foggy this morning but it will burn off quickly. Daughter and SIL are up here at Mom's for a kayak race. Well, some would call it a race and others would call it a big kayak GTG. Should be nice for it.
    Shadow and I have been for our walk. campinspecter is still dealing with a tweaked back. Bed or the recliner are the most comfortable spots for him.
    So bookkeeping, watching the Blue Jays and odds and ends through out the day.
    Buttermilk sorry to hear about your FIL. May the peace of Jesus be in his heart.

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... It was a absolutely beautiful day for August here... 80's with low humidity and a light northly wind... Got some wood bucked... Cleaned up a old splitting area that had all the bark remains... Even fired up the Baby Kubota and uprooted some saplings that wasn't in a good location... for future plans...

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Time to rise and shine, give GOD the glory.
    72° this morning, might see another thunderstorm this evening. Got .5 rain yesterday, making the grass grow.
    Off today, so we plan on
    going to pick up some mixed hardwood logs this morning, oak, maple and dogwood. Then hopefully finish a tote of oak and start on some BL.

    71/86 much better than last week.

    Planning to finish up the pine logs today... again....

    We had a very pleasant day off yesterday... quite restful.
    Took the kids over to my sister's place in the afternoon for another visit with my mom.

    Yes, another beautiful yesterday. Got the log splitter out and checked all over the made some kindling wood. I did not last long when splitting but got some done and stopped before doing more damage to my body. And with my ruined hand and arm, splitting is now tougher and slower.
